Teas Herbal Teas Infusions — Rooibos Red Tea
Description
Rooibos Red Tea in biodegradable pyramid filters, individually wrapped in recyclable sachets for the Ho.Re.Ca market.
The red tea comes from South Africa, the name “Rooibos” derives from Afrikans, the language spoken by the settlers from Holland, and means “red shrub”, the plant from which this tea is prepared. Rich in protein, mineral salts and vitamin C, Rooibos tea is an excellent antioxidant, has a sweet taste even without the addition of sugar and it is caffeine-free.
Tea is a drink originating from Asia which, following colonial conquests, spread throughout the world to become the most consumed drink after water. Although the leaves used for the infusion derive almost exclusively from a single plant, the Camelia Sinensis, different types can be distinguished according to the degree of processing and fermentation of the leaves. The tea can be enriched with other ingredients and aromas making the range of possible flavors almost infinite
